Autumn Jazz Festival in Krakow's Alchemia Club. 

In 2017 Krakow Jazz Autumn festival starts on October 9th. The premier festival venue is Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square, in Krakow's Kazimierz historic district. Performing ensembles and jazzmen mostly adhere to free jazz.

October 9, Monday 
8 p.m. 
Jazz concert Carliot – It’s Never Too Late Orchestra features firstly Parti & Minut by trio of Sweden’s tubist Per-Ake Holmlander and trumpeter Johan Norin plus the USA’s drummer Christopher Cantillo, secondly Sax Madness by quartet of Denmark’s saxophonists Julie Kjaer and Signe Dahlgeen, Sweden’s saxophonist Anna Hogberg, and Poand’s saxophonist and clarinetist Mikolaj Trzaska, thirdly Quartet of Portugal’s trumpeter Susana Santos Silva, the USA’s trombonist Steve Swell and drummer Tim Daisy plus Sweden’s bassist Elsa Bergman (admission 30 PLN)..

Jazz concert Carliot – It’s Never Too Late Orchestra features firstly Trio of Sweden’s saxophonist Anna Hogberg and bassist Elsa Bergman plus the USA’s drummer Christopher Cantillo, secondly Duo of Portugal’s trumpeter Susana Santos Silva and Denmark’s saxophonist and flutist Julie Kjaer, thirdly Duo of  Sweden’s trumpeter Johan Norin and Denmark’s saxophonist Signe Dahlgeen, fourthly Inner Ear by quartet of Poland’s saxophonist and clarinetist Mikolaj Trzaska, the USA’s trombonist Steve Swell and drummer Tim Daisy plus Sweden’s tubist Per-Ake Holmlande.

Jazz concert Carliot – It’s Never Too Late Orchestra Plays the Heard & Unheard Music from Theatre, Dance and More features the ensemble of Sweden’s saxophonist Anna Hogberg, tubist Per-Ake Holmlander, trumpeter Johan Norin and bassist Elsa Bergman, the USA’s trombonist Steve Swell, drummers Christopher Cantillo and Tim Daisy, Portugal’s trumpeter Susana Santos Silva, Denmark’s saxophonists Julie Kjaer and Signe Dahlgeen, and Poland’s saxophonist and clarinetist Mikolaj Trzaska (admission 30 PLN).

Jazz concert features Japan’s pianist Satoko Fujii plus Poland’s Krakow Improvisers Orchestra (admission 20 PLN).

Jazz concert features trio of the USA’s percussionist Michael Zerang plus Poland’s clarinetist Piotr Melech and bassist Ksawery Wojcinski (admission 40 PLN).

Poland’s Lotto jazz trio of guitarist Lukasz Rychlicki, bassist Mike Majkowski, and drummer Pawel Szpura

Jazz concert features Poland’s Adam Kawonczyk Quartet in Harris Piano Jazz Bar, 28 Rynek Glowny central square, at 9 pm.
Jazz concert „Unexpectable” features duo of USA’s saxophonist and clarinetist Ken Vandermark and trumpeter Nate Wooley, followed by Japan’s pianist Ikue Mori playing solo, followed by duo of UK’s drummer Steve Noble and Norway’s saxophonist Mette Rasmussen (admission 40 PLN).
