Autumn Jazz Festival in Krakow's Alchemia Club. 

In 2016 Krakow Jazz Autumn festival takes place from October 23rd to December 4th. The premier festival venue is Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square, in Krakow's Kazimierz historic district. Performing ensembles and jazzmen mostly adhere to free jazz.

Program of the 11th Krakow Jazz Autumn /Krakowska Jesien Jazzowa/ the autumnal festival of modern jazz in Krakow
October 23rd to December 4th, 2016.

October 23, Sunday 
8 p.m. 
Jazz concert features France’s duo of double bassist Joelle Leandre and trumpeter Jean-Luc Cappozzo (admission 50 PLN). 
Venue: Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square. 

October 24, Monday
7 p.m. 
Les Diabolique trio of Scotland’s vocalist Maggie Nichols, France’s double bassist Joelle Leandre, and Switzerland’s pianist Irene Schweizer plus the Krakow Improvisers Orchestra (admission 80 PLN).
 
Venue: Muzeum Sztuki i Techniki Japonskiej Manggha museum, 26 Konoponickiej street.

Barry Guy Blue Shroud Band of the UK’s double bassist Barry Guy plus Greece’s vocalist Savina Yannatou, France’s tuba player Michel Godard, Ireland’s guitarist Ben Dwyer, Spain’s pianist Agustí Fernandez, Norway’s saxophonist Torben Snekkestad, Germany’s saxophonist Michael Niesemann,  Switzerland’s violinist Maya Homburger, saxophonist Jurg Wickihalder, and drummer Lucas Niggli, England’s trumpeter Percy Pursglove, Germany’s saxophonist Julius Gabriel, and France’s violinist Fanny Paccoud and drummer Ramon Lopez (admission 50 PLN).
