Autumn Jazz Festival in Krakow's Alchemia Club. 

In 2011 Cracow Jazz Fall festival takes place from September 20th to November 28th. The premier festival venue is Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square, in Krakow's Kazimierz historic district. Performing ensembles and jazzmen mostly adhere to free jazz.

September 20, Tuesday 
8 p.m. 
Japan’s jazz quartet, Kiki Band, of saxophonist Kazutoki Umezu, guitarist Natsuki Kido, and bassist Takeharu Hayakawa plus USA’s drummer Joe Trump. 
Venue: Manggha Museum at 26 Konopnickiej street.   

October 16, Sunday
8 p.m. 
Jazz concert features USA’s quartet, Edge, of violinist Jason Kao, cornet player Taylor Ho Bynum, drummer Andrew Drury, and bassist Ken Filiano.
 
Venue: Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square. 

October 20, Thursday 
8 p.m. 
Jazz concert features trio of Lithuania’s saxophonist Liudas Mockunas, Poland’s bass guitarist Rafal Mazur, and Swedens’s drummer Raymond Strid. 
Venue: Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square. 

October 25, Tuesday 
8 p.m. 
Duo of USA’s saxophonist Ken Vandermark and Norway’s drummer Paal Nilssen-Love play free jazz.
Venue: Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square. 

October 27, Thursday 
8 p.m. 
Jazz concert features Akira Sakata Trio of Japan’s alto saxophonist Akira Sakata plus USA’s bassist Darin Gray and drummer Chris Corsano. 
Venue: Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square. 

November 8, Tuesday 
8 p.m. 
Peter Brotzmann Japan Trio of Germany’s saxophonist Peter Brotzmann plus Japan’s pianist Masahiko Satoh and drummer Takeo Moriyama play free jazz. 
Venue: Manggha Museum at 26 Konopnickiej street.  

November 16, Wednesday 
8 p.m. 
Jazz concert features Ab Baars Trio and its quests, i.e. The Netherlands’ saxophonist Ab Baars, bassist Wilbert De Jode, and drummer Martin Van Duynhoven plus USA’s vocalist Fay Victor and French horn player Vincent Chancey. 
Venue: Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square. 

November 17, Thursday
8 p.m. 
England’s duo of soprano saxophonist Trevor Watts and pianist Veryan Westo play free jazz. 
Venue: Alchemia club, 5 Estery street at Plac Nowy square. 

November 28, Monday
8 p.m.
Confrenece Call quartet of Germany’s saxophonist and clarinetist Gebhard Ullmann plus USA’s pianist Michael Jefry Stevens, bassist Joe Fonda, and drummer George Schuller play free jazz.
